What Safety Measures Should Be Paid Attention To When Refueling The School Bus
Apr 21, 2020
School bus refueling is a commonplace, but the gas station is a high-risk place. Although many school bus drivers know it, if they do not pay attention when refueling, it may cause a lot of hidden safety hazards. In fact, many accidents happen to us inadvertently, and only the long-term alarm of the security consciousness can prevent it from happening.
1. Don't refuel the car with a full load of children
In order to ensure safety, try not to drive a school bus full of passengers to the gas station. If you refuel the vehicle when the student is fully loaded, it is a traffic safety violation and the driver will be penalized.
2. When refueling, the engine must be turned off
When the engine is running, the temperature of the exhaust pipe and muffler is very high, and the exhaust gas may be mixed with Mars. Therefore, when the school bus enters the gas station and waits for fuel, the engine should be turned off. When the vehicle is refueled, the oil cap should be tightened, the staff should close the oil gun, and then restart the engine and drive away.
3. Waiting for gas at the gas station, or do not call or answer the phone during the gas process
Mobile phones are non-explosion-proof communication equipment. Calling or answering mobile phones at gas stations will increase the possibility of fire. When mobile phones receive or emit high-frequency electromagnetic waves, there will be high-frequency currents. If there is poor contact in the mobile phone, electricity may be generated. Sparks cause fire.
4. It is best not to refuel in thunderstorms
Because the school bus oil is a flammable gas, the flammable oil vapor dissolves into the surrounding air when refueling the school bus, and if it is struck by lightning, the consequences are unimaginable.
