Asiastar has the professional coach research and development team for over 500 individuals and it is engaged in product design and development by making collaborations with North America R&D center, the automobile research institutes in Shanghai and Weichai, Weichai new energy company and Xiamen R&D center etc. The members of research and development team are specially-invited experts of the national program "thousands of elites"
and the overseas talents from Eton and General Motors etc. are hired as directors or supervisors of the team. They make the improvement of efficiency for the product R&D and enhance the performance of buses by twenty-four seven product study, the most advanced technology and design concept.
Asiastar sets up the leading computer center and is devoted itself to bus R&D and analysis by introduction of advanced design and analysis software: cruise (dynamics simulation), matlab (control strategy simulation), Ansys (finite element analysis), labview (virtual instrument), catia (three dimensional design) and CAE (computer-assisted design), etc., which bring better design results and oustanding product performance.
2. Production Capability
Taking account of production procedure circulation, the layout of Asiastar plant is in the shape of T, which represents a more sensible and ordered arrangement and enhances manufacturing efficiency compared with the old traditional U-shaped factory zone.
Covering an area of 300 thousand square meters, Asiastar plant is divided into welding, chassis, painting and assembly workshops on the principles of bus manufacturing technology and assembly-closing function. All workshops are equipped with top-notch devices to lay a solid foundation for vehicle manufacturing and production efficiency enhancement.

3. Test Capability
Asiastar is equipped with comprehensive inspection & test devices and standard test road in 3.4 km which meets the requirements for all tests in any circumstance and trial runs of vehicles. What's more, the company does various kinds of vehicle exams and collision tests in the national trial ground. It implements the verification for the reliability of products also makes the improvement of vehicle quality and provides acceptable buses by assorted static and dynamic tests.
